Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Zemavia is a birth chart and astrocartography app. This policy describes, exactly as it is today, how the app handles data. In short: your birth details and saved people never leave your device. There are two exceptions: the anonymous purchase record sent to RevenueCat to validate a Premium purchase, and anonymous daily usage counters that count how often screens are opened, with no identifier, plus an anonymous session flow kept under a random id made for each visit and tied to no one (you can switch both off in Settings).

Where your data lives

Your birth date, time and place; the name, interests, current city and relationship status you give in the “About you” steps (only the ones you fill in); and the birth details you save for other people on the Compatibility screen are kept only in this device's browser storage (localStorage).

This information is never sent to any server, is never linked to an account, and never leaves your device. There is no account system, so there is no user record associated with you either.

What does reach servers

The app is hosted statically (Netlify). The hosting provider may keep technical access logs (including IP addresses), as any website host does.

The map is drawn on your device from Zemavia's own world map file; no request goes to a third-party map server.

Purchases and subscriptions: Premium is bought through the App Store or Google Play; Apple or Google takes the payment, and your payment details never reach us. To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases we use RevenueCat, Inc. as a processor. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt from the store and an anonymous user id that the app generates. Signing in with Google is a planned future feature; if it is added and you sign in with Google, RevenueCat receives a one-way derived id from your Google account instead of that anonymous id.

The purpose is to validate the purchase and unlock Premium on your devices. No name, e-mail, birth data or location is sent to RevenueCat. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

Anonymous usage counters

The app counts how often its screens are opened, so we can see what works and improve it. Each time a screen opens, one very small record goes to our own server (Netlify).

What is counted: the name of the event (for example “map opened”), the platform (web, iOS or Android), the language on screen, the focus you last chose (Love, Career or Peace) and the app version. That is all.

What is not counted: your birth date, time or place, the cities you look at, any device or user identifier. The counters leave no cookie or other trace on your device; only if you switch them off is that choice remembered there. We do not write your IP address into the counter record and do not store it (for the hosting provider's own technical logs, see the section above). The counters are only daily totals per event and those four properties (“the map was opened 120 times today”); single people cannot be traced.

Anonymous session flow: besides the counters, to see which screens a visit passes through and how long that takes, a random id made for that visit alone is recorded together with the name of each screen (“map”, “report”; never an address), the names of the events above and the time since the visit began (in milliseconds), as a list in the order they happened, along with the platform, language, focus and version. The id is a random visit number made again for every visit and held only in memory: nothing is stored on your device. It disappears when the page is reloaded or closed or the app closes, and it cannot be matched to a later visit or to anything that knows you. If you came through one of our social links, the flow also notes which one (for example Instagram), nothing else. Your birth date, time and place, the cities you look at, your name, page addresses and your IP address do not enter this flow. The copy on our own server (Netlify) is deleted after 90 days at most. Where the app also sends it to the analysis store of our own Google Cloud project in the EU (BigQuery, EU region), that copy is kept until we delete it; it has no automatic expiry. Google Cloud stores it only on our behalf, as a processor.

To switch it off: Settings › Anonymous usage counters. While it is off, neither a counter nor the session flow leaves this device; "Delete all data on this device" does not erase that choice.

What we do not collect

Zemavia uses no third-party analytics or tracking code, no advertising networks and no cookies. Its usage counters and its anonymous session flow are data tied to no one, sent only to our own server and our own analysis store (see the section above). It does not collect payment details such as card numbers either; Apple or Google takes the payment.

KVKK notice

Under Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data: your birth details and people list stay on your device and we cannot access them. If you buy Premium, your purchase receipt and anonymous user id are processed by RevenueCat, Inc., acting as a processor, to validate the purchase; the details are in the section above on what is sent to servers.

The anonymous usage counters are daily totals. The anonymous session flow is screen names and timings under a random id made for each visit and not kept between visits. Neither contains data that identifies you. Hosting logs are technical data required for the service to run. For any question about your rights under KVKK, contact us at: yuroka@yuroka.net.

Age limit

Zemavia is not intended for users under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the app.
